Born in St. Louis, Built on Flavor

In 1964, Ed and Margie Imo opened their first pizza shop in St. Louis, Missouri, with a simple but powerful belief: pizza should be made with the finest local ingredients and served with genuine warmth. Their signature ultra-thin cracker crust and the iconic Provel cheese blend set them apart from day one.

What started as a neighborhood spot quickly became a city-wide institution. Families, sports fans, and pizza lovers across the region fell in love with the unique St. Louis–style pie — square-cut, perfectly crispy, and layered with fresh toppings that let the cheese and crust shine.

    The First Slice

    Ed and Margie Imo opened the original Imo's Pizza in St. Louis, MO. Their cracker-thin crust and Provel cheese recipe instantly won over the neighborhood — and a legend was born.

    Growing the Family

    Overwhelming demand led to the opening of multiple new locations throughout St. Louis. The square-cut party pizza became a city staple at birthday parties, family nights, and Friday evenings.

    Delivery Launches

    Imo's introduced its signature home delivery service, bringing the magic of St. Louis–style pizza directly to customers' doorsteps across the greater metropolitan area.

    Expanding Beyond St. Louis
